Thank you SB dieter

for your input and suggestions as far as my first post.

Re: Kashi GLC
she thinks it will be alright in Phase 2 and beyond - hooray! I think I would be lost without it.
Here is the nutritional info for GLC:

I don't know what it means in terms of the SBD but I do know that it is high in fiber, whole grains, etc. so hopefully it's ok on the.... glycemic index????

And a great suggestion regarding getting up early enough to cook those damn eggs every day:

"As you're running out the door, crack 2 eggs in a small tupperware container and beat witha fork. slide your 2 pieces of canadian bacon in there. close lid and run to work. At work, leave lid on, but pull up one corner and put in microwave for 3-4 minutes (until done). It works and your eggs will be totally flavored with the canadian bacon. (My coworkers are always jealous)."

Thanks!!

See link @ bottom. It seems GLC may actually have too much sugar! But it does have other goodness in it, so if you cut back the portion and ate it with something like plain yogurt (for the protein & acid to slow down the absorption of sugar) I think you could make it work. Like 1/2 c GLC on plain lowfat yogurt.

Again, this would only be ok in Phase 2 or 3.
